Overview
TowPro 2.0 is a mobile app redesign for a roadside assistance and tow truck dispatch platform. The app connects stranded drivers with nearby tow operators, and I led the design of the 2.0 version at Pando Development.
The Challenge
The original app had usability issues that slowed down the dispatch process — a critical problem when users are stranded on the road. The experience needed to be fast, clear, and trustworthy.
My Role
Product Designer responsible for the end-to-end redesign of the mobile experience for both the driver-facing and operator-facing sides of the app.
Design Approach
I mapped the full journey for both user types: drivers requesting help and tow operators receiving dispatches. I identified critical moments where speed and clarity matter most. Key designs included a one-tap emergency request flow, real-time tracking with ETA and driver details, an operator dashboard with job management, and a rating and payment flow.
Impact
Streamlined the request flow from multiple steps to a simplified experience. Improved operator efficiency with a clearer dispatch interface. Created a unified design language across both app experiences.
